He has excelled in sports throughout his life, lately leading the Central Indians Soccer Team to a winning season and a place in the upcoming state tournament. He plans to continue his education and soccer activities at Sheridan Community College in northern Wyoming. Above are his class picture, some sports news photos from the Wyoming Tribune - Eagle, and picture of Marcus and his dad during a recent trip to Hawaii. Following is an article that accompanied one of the above pictures, telling of his grit and skill on the soccer field.

CHEYENNE - A shockwave ran through Marcus Ferrari’s body when he collided with Laramie goalkeeper Kyle Russell on Tuesday.
One thought consumed the Cheyenne Central senior as the pain subsided while he lay on Riske Field’s artificial turf.
“‘Oh my goodness, not again,”’ Ferrari said. “I was scared and had to take a minute to make sure that I was OK.”
He had just collided with Russell as they both went for a ball late in the second half, and Russell’s knee hit Ferrari squarely in the midsection.
Taking a knee squarely in the stomach would have been a difficult blow for any player, but it was doubly painful for Ferrari, who had an emergency appendectomy April 11.
Ferrari will play his final regular-season match today when the No. 3-ranked Indians (6-3-1 overall, 5-3-1 Class 4A East Conference) visit Cheyenne South (2-11-1, 0-8-0) at 6 p.m.
Moments like Tuesday night’s collision don’t keep Ferrari from thinking the worst, but they also don’t keep him from appreciating every minute he gets to spend on a soccer field.
That’s because Ferrari briefly thought his senior season was going end with the appendectomy. A nurse who helped prepare Ferrari for surgery told him that the recommended recovery time was six to eight weeks. He was so bothered by the news that he sought a second opinion after he was wheeled into the operating room.
“They told me that I was only going to be out one or two weeks,” Ferrari said. “It was like a huge weight had.been lifted off my shoulders. I was pretty thrilled.
"I had already lost my sophomore year, and I definitely didn’t want to lose my senior year.”
Ferrari suffered a hip injury playing pickup basketball with a cousin, an injury so bad that he missed all of his sophomore season.
“I went to pivot and the muscle ripped right off the bone,” he said.
