The Remarkable Family of Tandy and Grace Brown
Mike Brown has graciously offered to be the Brown Family Blogger! He will attempt to take up where Dolfe left off with the Plain Brown Rappers, keeping us up to date. Ilene Rae Sylvester Parrish
October 11, 1941 - March 6, 2017
Ilene was the eldest daughter of Betty (the 6th child of Grace and Tandy) and Charles Sylvester. Ilene died following a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her son, Douglas, and sisters Sally Viersen (Ben) and Donna Richards (Jim). She was preceded in death by her parents and sons, Edward and Charles. Ilene graduated from Cheyenne High School in 1959, attended the University of Wyoming and worked for several years for the Laramie County Clerk in Cheyenne before moving to Aurora, Colorado, where she worked for the City of Aurora until her retirement. She lived in Aurora until her passing.
Charlie is the son of Dick and Marty Brown. Dick was the 13th child of Tandy and Grace.
Mike is the youngest (17th) child of Tandy and Grace.
Denny is the eldest of Roy and Alice Brown’s children. Roy is the 4th child of Tandy and Grace.
